Heat a medium-sized pan or saucepan over medium heat. Add the 1 tablespoon of sesame oil to the hot pan.

Add the 1 clove of minced garlic and 1 tablespoon of grated ginger to the pan. Sauté for 1-2 minutes, stirring frequently, until the garlic and ginger become fragrant.

Pour in the 1/4 cup of rice vinegar, 1/4 cup of soy sauce, 2 tablespoons of honey, 2 tablespoons of brown sugar, and 1 tablespoon of sriracha into the pan with the sautéed aromatics.

Whisk all the ingredients in the pan together until they are well combined and the sugar has dissolved.

In a separate small bowl, combine the 1 tablespoon of cornstarch with the 1/4 cup of water. Whisk until no lumps remain, creating a smooth slurry.

Slowly pour the cornstarch slurry into the simmering sauce in the pan while continuously whisking to prevent lumps.

Continue to simmer the sauce over medium-low heat, stirring occasionally, for 2-3 minutes, or until it has thickened to your desired consistency. It should be thick enough to coat the back of a spoon.

Remove the pan from the heat. The McDonald's Szechuan Sauce is now ready to be served with your favorite dishes, such as chicken nuggets or stir-fries. Enjoy!
