Combine the warm milk, granulated sugar, and active dry yeast in a large bowl. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes until it becomes foamy.

Add the room temperature egg, egg yolk, and melted unsalted butter to the mixture, and mix well.

Stir in the salt, all-purpose flour, and 3 finely crushed Oreo crumbs.

Mix until a soft dough forms.

Transfer the dough to a lightly floured surface and knead it for 8-10 minutes.

Place the kneaded dough in a lightly greased bowl, cover it, and let it rise for 1 to 1 1/2 hours, or until it has doubled in size.

While the dough is rising, prepare the filling. In a separate bowl, mix the softened unsalted butter, 8 finely crushed Oreo crumbs, packed brown sugar, vanilla, and cinnamon until all ingredients are combined and the mixture is spreadable.

On a lightly floured surface, roll the risen dough into a large rectangle.

Spread the prepared filling evenly over the entire surface of the dough.

Scatter optional chopped Oreos all over the filling, ensuring not to overstuff it.

Using a pizza cutter, slice the dough into 8 pieces and roll each piece up tightly individually. Alternatively, you can tightly roll the entire dough rectangle into a log first, then slice it into 8 pieces.

Place the rolled cinnamon rolls into a greased 9x13 inch pan.

Cover the pan and let the rolls rise for an additional 30-45 minutes.

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

Just before baking, pour the 1/3 cup of warm heavy cream evenly over the rolls in the pan.

Bake for 22-25 minutes, or until the rolls are golden brown.

While the rolls are baking or cooling slightly, prepare the icing. Beat the room temperature cream cheese (block style) and room temperature unsalted butter together in a bowl until the mixture is smooth.

Then, beat in the powdered sugar and vanilla until fully combined and smooth.

Spread the prepared icing generously over the warm cinnamon rolls.

Top with extra crushed Oreos for garnish.

Enjoy!
