In a large mixing bowl, combine the warm milk, instant yeast, and sugar. Mix these ingredients together until well combined. Let the mixture sit for a few minutes until it becomes slightly foamy, indicating the yeast is active.

Add the egg, bread flour (or all-purpose flour), salt, garlic powder, and parsley to the bowl with the milk mixture. Mix the ingredients until a cohesive dough forms.

Incorporate the softened butter into the dough by kneading until the dough is smooth and elastic. This can be done by hand or with a stand mixer.

Cover the dough bowl and allow it to rise in a warm place for 1 hour, or until its size has visibly doubled.

While the dough is rising, prepare the cheesy garlic filling: In a separate bowl, combine the softened butter, minced garlic, parsley, a pinch of salt, shredded mozzarella, and grated parmesan. Mix all these filling ingredients together thoroughly.

Once the dough has completed its first rise, gently punch it down and divide it into 9 equal pieces.

Take each piece of dough and flatten it into a circular shape. Place approximately 1 tablespoon of the prepared cheesy garlic filling into the center of each flattened dough circle.

Carefully pinch the edges of the dough together to enclose the filling, then roll the dough into a smooth ball. Arrange the formed dough balls, seam-side down, in a greased baking pan.

Cover the baking pan with the dough balls and let them rise again in a warm place until they appear puffy.

Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F). Before baking, brush the tops of the risen dough balls with egg wash to achieve a golden crust.

Bake the rolls in the preheated oven for 20–25 minutes, or until they turn golden brown.

Immediately after removing from the oven, brush the hot rolls with a little melted garlic butter and sprinkle fresh parsley over them. Serve and enjoy!
