Slice the 300 grams of pork into bite-sized pieces. Pork belly is recommended for this dish.

In a medium-sized bowl, combine the sliced pork with 1 tablespoon of minced garlic, 1 tablespoon of gochujang, 1/2 tablespoon of gochugaru, 1/2 tablespoon of sugar, 1 tablespoon of soy sauce, and 1 teaspoon of oyster sauce.

Mix all the ingredients thoroughly until the pork is evenly coated with the marinade.

Allow the pork mixture to marinate for 10 minutes to absorb the flavors.

While the pork is marinating, slice 1/2 an onion into thin strips.

Place a large pan or wok on the stove over medium-high heat and allow it to heat up.

Add the marinated pork to the hot pan and stir-fry for 5 minutes, breaking up any clumps and ensuring even cooking.

After 5 minutes, add the sliced onion to the pan with the pork.

Continue to stir-fry the pork and onion together for another 5 minutes, or until the pork is fully cooked and the onions are tender-crisp.

Transfer the cooked Jeyuk Bokkeum to a serving plate.

Garnish with sesame seeds, if desired.

Serve the dish hot, traditionally with rice, fresh lettuce leaves for wrapping, and kimchi.
