Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Pour the entire bag of frozen raspberries into a baking dish.

Sprinkle 1/2 cup of granulated sugar evenly over the frozen raspberries.

Add 1 tablespoon of lemon juice to the raspberries in the baking dish.

Gently mix the raspberries, sugar, and lemon juice together directly in the baking dish until well combined.

In a separate medium-sized bowl, combine 1 cup of all-purpose flour, 1/2 cup of granulated sugar, 1 1/2 teaspoons of baking powder, and 1/4 teaspoon of salt. Whisk these dry ingredients together thoroughly until no lumps remain.

In a liquid measuring cup, combine 1/2 cup of milk and 1/4 cup of melted unsalted butter. Stir these wet ingredients together until well combined.

Pour the wet ingredients from the measuring cup into the bowl with the dry ingredients. Stir until just combined, being careful not to overmix. A few small lumps are acceptable; overmixing can lead to a tough cobbler.

Using a spoon, dollop spoonfuls of the prepared batter evenly over the raspberry mixture in the baking dish. Gently spread the batter slightly to cover most of the raspberries, but it doesn't need to be perfectly smooth.

Place the baking dish into the preheated oven and bake for 30 to 35 minutes, or until the top of the cobbler is golden brown and the raspberry filling is bubbly.

Carefully remove the cobbler from the oven. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

Serve the raspberry cobbler warm, ideally with a generous scoop of vanilla ice cream on top, if desired.
