Press the block of tofu to remove any excess moisture. Once pressed, cut the tofu into desired cubes.

Place the cubed tofu into a bowl. Add 1 tablespoon of cornstarch, a pinch of salt, a pinch of pepper, and 1 teaspoon of garlic powder to the bowl.

Gently mix the tofu until all the pieces are evenly coated with the seasonings.

Air fry or pan fry the coated tofu until it is golden brown and crispy. This should take approximately 10 minutes.

While the tofu is cooking, prepare the sauce. In a separate bowl, combine 2 tablespoons of gochujang, 1 tablespoon of soy sauce, 1 tablespoon of lime juice, 1 tablespoon of maple syrup, and 1 teaspoon of minced garlic.

Mix the sauce ingredients thoroughly until they are well combined.

Once the tofu is crispy, transfer it to a pan.

Pour the prepared gochujang sauce over the crispy tofu in the pan. Mix gently until all the tofu pieces are evenly coated with the sauce.
