Melt the butter in a non-stick pan over medium heat. Ensure the butter is evenly distributed across the pan.

In a small bowl, combine the mayonnaise, garlic powder, onion powder, dried parsley, and everything bagel seasoning. Mix thoroughly until all ingredients are well incorporated into a smooth paste.

Take one slice of brioche bread and evenly spread half of the prepared mayonnaise mixture onto one side of it.

Carefully place the bread slice, mayonnaise-side down, into the pan with the melted butter.

Immediately layer the cheese on top of the bread in the pan. Start with two slices of American cheese, followed by two slices of sharp cheddar, and then finish with two more slices of American cheese.

Spread the remaining mayonnaise mixture evenly onto one side of the second slice of brioche bread.

Place this second slice of bread on top of the cheese layers, with the mayonnaise-side facing up.

Cook the sandwich for 3-4 minutes, or until the bottom slice is golden brown and crispy.

Using a spatula, carefully flip the sandwich. Gently press down on the sandwich with the spatula to ensure even contact with the pan and to help the cheese melt uniformly.

Continue cooking for another 3-4 minutes, or until the second side is golden brown and the cheese is completely melted and gooey.

Remove the grilled cheese from the pan. For the best presentation and eating experience, cut it diagonally before serving immediately.
