Cut 300g of beef into thin slices. In a bowl, combine the beef slices with 1 spoon of cooking wine, 1 spoon of soy sauce, 1 spoon of oyster sauce, 1 spoon of cornstarch, and 2 spoons of water. Mix thoroughly until the beef is evenly coated.

Add a small amount of cooking oil to the marinated beef and mix again. This helps to tenderize the beef and prevent sticking. Let the beef marinate for 10 minutes.

While the beef is marinating, prepare the vegetables and aromatics. Cut 2 green peppers and 1 red pepper into strips. Slice 1 piece of ginger and 3 cloves of garlic. Cut 3 dried chilies into sections.

Heat 20ml of cooking oil in a pan or wok over medium-high heat. Once the oil is hot, add the marinated beef slices.

Stir-fry the beef until it changes color and is no longer pink. This should take about 2-3 minutes. Remove the cooked beef from the pan and set it aside.

In the same pan, add the sliced ginger, sliced garlic, and dried chili sections. Stir-fry for about 1 minute until the aromatics are fragrant.

Add the green and red pepper strips to the pan with the aromatics. Stir-fry the peppers for 1 minute until they are slightly tender-crisp.

Return the stir-fried beef to the pan with the peppers and aromatics. Add 1 spoon of broad bean paste, 1 spoon of soy sauce, 1/2 spoon of salt, 1/2 spoon of chicken essence, and 1/2 spoon of sugar.

Stir-fry all the ingredients evenly for another 2-3 minutes to combine and ensure the beef and peppers are well coated with the sauce.

Serve the stir-fried beef with peppers immediately with steamed rice.
