Preheat your air fryer to 400°F or your oven to 425°F (or according to package instructions for your chosen frozen fries). Cook the frozen french fries until golden brown and crispy, following the package directions. This usually takes about 15-20 minutes in an air fryer or 20-25 minutes in an oven, shaking the basket/flipping halfway through.

While the fries are cooking, prepare the garlic butter mixture. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the unsalted butter, minced garlic, rosemary, salt, and black pepper.

Microwave the butter mixture for 30-60 seconds, or until the butter is fully melted and the mixture is fragrant. Stir well to combine.

Once the fries are cooked and hot, transfer them to a large mixing bowl. Pour the melted garlic butter mixture over the hot fries. Toss thoroughly until all the fries are evenly coated.

Add the grated Parmesan cheese to the fries. If using, drizzle with truffle oil. Toss again vigorously to ensure the cheese and oil are well distributed and cling to the hot fries.

Serve immediately and enjoy your homemade garlic Parmesan fries!
