Pat the pork chops dry with paper towels. In a shallow dish, combine the all-purpose flour, 1 teaspoon salt, 1/2 teaspoon black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. In another shallow dish, whisk together the beaten eggs and milk.

Dredge each pork chop first in the flour mixture, ensuring it's fully coated, then dip it into the egg mixture, allowing any excess to drip off. Finally, dredge it again in the flour mixture, pressing gently to ensure a good coating. Set aside on a plate.

Heat the vegetable oil in a deep fryer or a large, heavy-bottomed pot to 350°F. Carefully place 1-2 breaded pork chops into the hot oil, ensuring not to overcrowd the fryer. Fry for 4-6 minutes per side, or until golden brown, crispy, and cooked through (internal temperature reaches 145°F).

Remove the fried pork chops from the oil and place them on a wire rack set over a baking sheet to drain excess oil. Repeat with the remaining pork chops.

While the pork chops are draining, spread a generous amount of mayonnaise evenly on one side of each slice of bread.

To assemble each sandwich, place one slice of mayonnaise-covered bread on a plate. Top with one slice of American cheese.

Place a freshly fried pork chop on top of the American cheese. Layer a generous amount of shredded lettuce over the pork chop.

Add two slices of tomato on top of the lettuce. Sprinkle with freshly ground black pepper to taste. If desired, drizzle with hot sauce.

Top with the second slice of mayonnaise-covered bread. Gently press the sandwich together. Repeat for the remaining sandwiches.
