Preheat your oven to 500°F. Place a 10-inch cast iron skillet on the bottom rack of the oven while it preheats. This ensures the skillet gets very hot.

While the oven and skillet preheat, prepare the pizza dough. On a lightly floured surface, roll out the store-bought pizza dough into a circle larger than your cast iron skillet (approximately 12-14 inches in diameter). Sprinkle the Italian seasoning and 2 tablespoons of grated Parmesan cheese over the dough and gently roll it in to incorporate.

Once the oven reaches 500°F, carefully remove the hot cast iron skillet. Reduce the oven temperature to 425°F. Lightly spray the inside of the hot skillet with cooking spray to prevent sticking.

Begin layering the ingredients in reverse order. First, arrange the pepperoni slices evenly across the bottom of the hot skillet. Sprinkle the diced ham over the pepperoni.

Add the drained canned mushrooms over the ham. Follow with 1 cup of the freshly grated low-moisture mozzarella cheese, spreading it evenly.

Scatter the sliced jalapeños over the cheese layer. Top with the remaining 1 cup of freshly grated low-moisture mozzarella cheese.

Carefully pour the pizza sauce over the top cheese layer, spreading it gently to cover. Sprinkle with garlic salt and the remaining 1/4 cup of grated Parmesan cheese.

Carefully place the prepared pizza dough over all the layered ingredients in the skillet. Gently tuck the edges of the dough down into the sides of the skillet, creating a seal.

Return the skillet to the bottom rack of the oven. Bake for 25 minutes, or until the dough on top is golden brown and cooked through.

Once baked, carefully remove the skillet from the oven. Let it rest for 2-3 minutes. Using a spatula, gently loosen the edges of the pizza from the skillet.

Place a large cutting board or serving plate upside down over the skillet. Using oven mitts, firmly grasp both the skillet and the cutting board, then carefully and confidently flip the entire skillet over onto the cutting board. Let it sit for 1 minute before lifting the skillet to reveal your Skillet Flip Pizza.

Slice and serve immediately. Enjoy the crispy, cheesy, upside-down goodness!
