Thinly slice the 1/2 white onion, 2 green onions, and 1 tablespoon of jalapeno. Set aside.

Bring a pot of water to a rolling boil. Carefully add the 4 eggs and boil for exactly 6 minutes for a jammy yolk.

Immediately transfer the boiled eggs into a bowl of ice-cold water to stop the cooking process. Let them cool for a few minutes.

Peel the cooled eggs, preferably under cold running water, as this can make them easier to peel.

In a medium bowl, combine the soy sauce, gochugaru, minced garlic, sliced white onion, sliced green onion, sliced jalapeno, sesame seeds, and water. Stir well until all ingredients are thoroughly mixed and the gochugaru is dissolved, forming the marinade sauce.

In a container suitable for marinating (such as a glass dish or a large food storage container), carefully place the silken tofu (removed from its packaging) and the peeled boiled eggs.

Pour the prepared marinade sauce evenly over the tofu and eggs. Gently spread the sauce to ensure everything is well coated.

Cover the container and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or preferably overnight, to allow the flavors to meld and the tofu and eggs to absorb the marinade.

Before serving, you can gently slice the silken tofu into smaller, bite-sized pieces directly in the container if desired. Serve the Spicy Marinated Silken Tofu & Eggs with steamed rice.
