Place the peeled and sliced potatoes evenly into the bottom of a 6-quart (or larger) Crock-Pot slow cooker.

Pour 1 cup of water and 1 cup of milk over the potatoes in the slow cooker.

Sprinkle the entire package of Pioneer Country Sausage Flavor Gravy Mix over the potatoes and liquid.

Add 1 1/2 cups of the shredded sharp cheddar cheese to the slow cooker.

Using kitchen shears, chop the raw bacon directly into the slow cooker over the other ingredients.

Stir all ingredients thoroughly in the slow cooker until well combined and the gravy mix is mostly dissolved.

Evenly sprinkle the remaining 1/2 cup of shredded sharp cheddar cheese over the top of the mixture.

Cover the slow cooker with its lid and cook on high for 3 hours, or until potatoes are tender.

Once cooked, carefully remove the lid. Garnish with freshly chopped green onions before serving.
