Prepare the vegetables: Take the baby broccoli or broccolini and slice it in half lengthwise, then cut it into 1-inch pieces. Medium dice the white onion.

Cook the vegetables: Heat a large nonstick pan over medium-high heat with 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Once hot, add the cut baby broccoli/broccolini and white onion. Season with a pinch of salt and pepper. Cook for 5-6 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the vegetables start to pick up some color and the onion just barely begins to soften. Transfer the cooked vegetables to a bowl and set aside.

Cook the beef: Add the ground beef to the same pan. Cook one side for 2-3 minutes until a nicely browned crust forms. Break the beef apart with a spoon and continue to cook until fully browned and no pink remains.

Prepare the sauce: While the beef cooks, in a small bowl, whisk together the hoisin sauce, sriracha, rice vinegar, coconut aminos, and water until well combined.

Combine beef and sauce: Add the mixed sauce to the cooked beef in the pan. Stir everything together, then leave untouched for a couple of minutes until the sauce fully reduces and starts to caramelize on the bottom of the pan.

Finish the stir-fry: Add the cooked vegetables back to the pan with the beef and sauce. Toss everything together to combine and heat through.

Serve: Divide the steamed rice among four bowls. Top each with an equal portion of the crispy beef and baby broccoli stir-fry.
