In a mixing bowl, pour the 18g of melted butter.

Add 2 tablespoons of brown sugar and 1 tablespoon of caster sugar to the melted butter. Mix until well combined and creamy.

Stir in 2 teaspoons of milk and 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla essence (or to taste) into the wet mixture. Mix thoroughly.

Add 40g of all-purpose flour and a pinch of baking soda to the wet ingredients. Mix until a cohesive cookie dough forms.

Gently press the 2 chocolate cubes into the center of the cookie dough. If desired, sprinkle additional chocolate chips on top of the dough.

Place the bowl containing the cookie dough into the freezer and chill for 10 minutes. This helps the cookie hold its shape during baking.

While the dough is chilling, preheat your air fryer to 160°C (320°F).

Carefully transfer the chilled cookie dough (still in its bowl if it's air fryer safe, or on a small piece of parchment paper) into the preheated air fryer.

Bake at 160°C (320°F) for 7-9 minutes for a molten, semi-baked cookie with crisp edges and a gooey center. For a more traditional, fully baked cookie, continue baking for an additional 2-3 minutes (total 9-12 minutes).

Carefully remove the cookie from the air fryer. Serve immediately, optionally topped with a scoop of ice cream.
