Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil (or butter) in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

Add 1 pound of ground beef to the hot skillet. Cook the ground beef until it is browned, breaking it apart with a spoon as it cooks. Drain any excess grease if needed.

Stir in 1 small diced onion and cook for 3-4 minutes until it has softened.

Add 3 cloves of minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds, stirring constantly to prevent burning.

Mix in the seasonings: 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce, 1 teaspoon smoked paprika, 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning, 1/2 teaspoon onion powder, 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder, salt, black pepper (to taste), and 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (if using). Stir well to combine all ingredients with the beef and onion mixture.

Add the chopped cabbage (1 small head) to the skillet and stir well to incorporate it with the seasoned ground beef mixture.

Cover the skillet and cook for 8-10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the cabbage is tender but still slightly crisp.

Taste the dish and adjust the seasoning if needed, adding more salt, pepper, or other spices to your preference.

Sprinkle with 2 tablespoons of chopped fresh parsley and serve hot.
