Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a large pan or skillet over medium heat.

Add the 2 thinly sliced onions to the pan. Cook, stirring occasionally, until the onions are deeply caramelized and a rich brown color. This process can take 15-20 minutes.

Add the 7-8 minced cloves of garlic to the caramelized onions and cook for another 1-2 minutes until fragrant.

Stir in 1 teaspoon of garlic powder, 1 teaspoon of oregano, 1 teaspoon of paprika, and 1 teaspoon of black pepper powder.

Add 1 tablespoon of salt to the pan and mix well.

Pour in 1 cup of pasta water and stir thoroughly to combine all the ingredients and deglaze the pan.

Add 1 tablespoon of chilli oil and 1 tablespoon of soya sauce to the mixture, stirring to incorporate.

Pour 100g of cream into the pan and add the cheese slice.

Stir continuously until the cheese melts completely and the sauce becomes creamy and smooth.

Add the 150g of cooked spaghetti to the pan with the sauce.

Using tongs, mix the spaghetti thoroughly with the creamy sauce until every strand is evenly coated.

Serve immediately, garnished with chopped fresh green herbs and a sprinkle of red chili flakes, if desired.
