Preheat your oven to 400°F. Lightly grease a 9-inch round baking dish or pizza pan with olive oil.

Ensure your steamed cauliflower florets are very tender. Place them in a large bowl and mash thoroughly with a fork or potato masher until no large lumps remain. Alternatively, you can pulse them in a food processor until finely riced, then squeeze out any excess moisture using a clean kitchen towel.

To the mashed cauliflower, add the garlic powder, onion powder, large egg, 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese, almond flour, salt, and black pepper. Mix all ingredients thoroughly until well combined and a thick, consistent dough forms.

Transfer the cauliflower mixture into the prepared baking dish. Use a fork or the back of a spoon to press the mixture evenly across the bottom of the dish, forming a solid, flat crust about 1/4 to 1/2 inch thick. Ensure the edges are slightly raised to create a rim.

Bake the formed crust for 15-20 minutes, or until it is golden brown and firm to the touch. This pre-baking step helps to dry out the crust and make it sturdy.

Remove the pre-baked crust from the oven. Evenly spread the pizza sauce over the crust, leaving a small border for the crust's edge.

Generously sprinkle the remaining 1 1/2 cups of shredded mozzarella cheese over the pizza sauce.

Return the pizza to the oven and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted, bubbly, and golden brown.

Carefully remove the pizza from the oven. Let it cool for 5 minutes before slicing and serving. This allows the crust to set further.
