In a blender, combine the vodka, frozen cantaloupe cubes, packed basil leaves, fresh lime juice, and simple syrup.

Blend on high speed until smooth and well combined. If the mixture is too thick, add a splash more vodka or a few ice cubes and blend again.

Taste and adjust sweetness with more simple syrup if desired.

Fill chilled martini glasses with a few ice cubes.
