Preheat your oven to 375°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.

Halve the pears lengthwise and carefully scoop out the core using a spoon or melon baller, creating a small cavity in the center of each pear half.

Arrange the pear halves cut-side up on the prepared baking sheet.

Place one slice of goat cheese into the hollowed-out center of each pear half.

Drizzle the honey evenly over the goat cheese and pears. Sprinkle the finely chopped fresh rosemary and freshly ground black pepper over the pears.

Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the pears are tender when pierced with a fork and the goat cheese is warm and slightly softened. The edges of the pears may begin to caramelize slightly.

Remove from the oven and immediately sprinkle with the chopped toasted pecans. Serve warm.
