Cut 200g of paneer into bite-sized cubes and transfer them to a bowl.

Add 2 tablespoons of cornstarch, 1 teaspoon of salt, and 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper to the paneer. Toss well to ensure the paneer cubes are evenly coated.

Heat oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Once the oil is hot, add the coated paneer cubes and fry until they turn golden brown and crispy on all sides.

Remove the fried paneer from the pan and set aside on a plate lined with paper towels to drain excess oil.

In the same pan, reduce the heat to medium. Add 1 tablespoon of minced garlic, 1/2 teaspoon of minced ginger, 1/2 teaspoon of chopped green chili, and 1/2 teaspoon of the white part of spring onions. Sauté until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes.

Add 1 teaspoon of soy sauce, 1 tablespoon of red chili sauce, 1 tablespoon of tomato ketchup, 1 tablespoon of honey, 1 tablespoon of vinegar, 1/2 teaspoon of salt, and 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper to the pan. Mix all the sauce ingredients well and cook for about 1 minute.

Pour in 1/4 cup of water, followed by 2 tablespoons of cornstarch slurry. Continue cooking and stirring until the sauce thickens to a sticky consistency.

Add the previously fried paneer cubes back into the pan with the thickened sauce. Toss thoroughly to ensure each piece is evenly coated.

Garnish the sticky fried paneer with 1 teaspoon of chopped spring onion greens and 1 teaspoon of sesame seeds. Serve hot.
