Cut the white tikoy into 2 cm cubes.

Soak the tikoy cubes in boiling hot water for 5 minutes. This will make the outer layer sticky.

Drain the tikoy cubes.

Place 1 cup of white sesame seeds in a bowl.

Coat the tikoy cubes thoroughly with the sesame seeds.

Heat oil for deep frying in a deep pot or fryer over medium heat. Once hot, deep fry the coated tikoy until the sesame seeds are toasted and the tikoy is soft and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.

Remove from the oil and serve on a plate.
