Preheat your oven to 320°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Carefully separate the egg whites from the yolks, placing the egg whites into a clean, dry mixing bowl. Add the white vinegar to the egg whites.

Using an electric mixer, begin whipping the egg whites on medium speed. Gradually add the granulated sugar, a little at a time, as the egg whites start to foam. Increase the speed to high and continue whipping until the mixture forms stiff, glossy peaks that hold their shape when the beaters are lifted.

Carefully spoon the whipped egg white mixture onto the prepared baking sheet, shaping it into a dome or cloud-like form. Ensure it's thick enough to hold its shape.

Generously sprinkle the almond flakes over the top of the shaped cloud cake.

Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes, or until the cloud cake is golden brown and puffed. The almond flakes should appear toasted.

Remove the cloud cake from the oven and let it cool slightly. Just before serving, dust generously with powdered sugar. Serve immediately to enjoy its fluffy, cloud-like interior.
