Place the 500 grams of pork belly in a medium-sized bowl.

To the bowl with the pork belly, add 1 tablespoon of five spice powder, 1 tablespoon of sesame oil, 1 tablespoon of cooking wine, 1 tablespoon of hoisin sauce, 1 tablespoon of soy sauce, 1 tablespoon of oyster sauce, 1 tablespoon of honey, 1 tablespoon of sugar, the 2 cloves of minced garlic, the 1 inch of grated ginger, and red food colouring to your desired shade.

Mix all the ingredients thoroughly with the pork belly, ensuring every piece is well coated with the marinade.

Cover the bowl and marinate the pork belly in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours. For best results, marinate overnight.

Once marinated, place the pork belly into the rice cooker pot.

Add 1 cup of rice and 1 cup of water to the rice cooker alongside the marinated pork belly.

Close the rice cooker lid and set it to the "cook" mode. Allow the rice cooker to complete its full cooking cycle.

Once the rice cooker finishes cooking, open the lid and check if the pork is tender by piercing it with a fork. It should be easily pierced.

Carefully remove the cooked pork belly from the rice cooker and set it aside.

Take the leftover sauce from the bottom of the rice cooker pot and transfer it to a small saucepan. Add additional honey to the sauce, to taste, and gently heat it over low heat, stirring until it forms a slightly thickened glaze.

Brush the prepared glaze generously over all sides of the cooked pork belly.

Slice the glazed Chinese BBQ Pork into desired serving pieces.

Serve the sliced Chinese BBQ Pork immediately with the fragrant rice cooked in the rice cooker.
