Preheat your oven to 425°F. Place 5 tablespoons of salted butter into a 9x13 inch baking dish. Place this dish into the preheating oven to allow the butter to melt completely while the oven comes to temperature.

In a separate large mixing bowl, combine the eggs, milk, all-purpose flour, vanilla extract, and salt. Whisk these ingredients thoroughly until a smooth, uniform batter is achieved with no lumps.
