Cut each of the 4 hot dogs into 3 pieces. Cut each of the 4 mozzarella cheese sticks into 3 pieces. Skewer one piece of hot dog and one piece of mozzarella cheese onto a wooden skewer. Repeat this process to create 12 skewers.

Peel and boil the 2 potatoes until tender. Mash the boiled potatoes thoroughly in a bowl.

In a separate bowl, combine the 100 g corn flour, 100 g all-purpose flour, 3 tablespoons sugar, 1 teaspoon baking powder, and 1/2 teaspoon salt. Add the 1 egg and 100 ml milk to the dry ingredients. Mix everything together well until a smooth batter is formed.

Take one prepared skewer (hot dog and cheese). Evenly coat the skewer with the mashed potato, pressing firmly to ensure it adheres completely. Then, dip the potato-coated skewer into the prepared batter, making sure it is fully covered.

Heat oil in a deep pan to 170°C. Carefully place the coated corn dogs into the hot oil. Fry them until they turn golden brown and crispy on all sides.

Remove the fried corn dogs from the oil and place them on a wire rack or paper towel to drain any excess oil. Serve immediately, optionally with ketchup.
