Add 2 cups of rice to the rice cooker pot.

Add 1 tablespoon of soy sauce to the rice cooker pot.

Add 1 tablespoon of chicken bouillon to the rice cooker pot.

Add 1 teaspoon of black pepper to the rice cooker pot.

Add 1 tablespoon of minced garlic to the rice cooker pot.

Pour 300 ml of water into the rice cooker pot. The water level should reach just below the 2 cup line marking inside the rice cooker.

Add 1/2 chopped onion to the rice cooker pot.

Mix all the ingredients in the rice cooker pot thoroughly with a spoon.

Arrange 12-15 large shrimp on top of the mixture in the rice cooker pot.

Add 2 tablespoons of butter on top of the shrimp and rice mixture.

Close the rice cooker lid. Cook on regular/white rice mode.

Once cooking is complete, open the lid. The shrimp will be cooked and pink.

Mix the cooked rice and shrimp together inside the rice cooker pot with a spoon.

Scoop the cooked Garlic Shrimp Rice into a bowl, then invert it onto a serving plate to create a dome shape.

Garnish with chopped parsley. An optional 1 more tablespoon of butter can be added after cooking for extra richness.
