Place the softened cream cheese into a medium mixing bowl.

Add the shredded cheddar cheese and chopped dill pickle slices to the bowl with the cream cheese.

Using a fork, thoroughly mix the cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, and chopped pickles until well combined. This forms your pickle dip.

Cook the bacon slices on a griddle or in a pan over medium heat until crispy. This should take about 5-7 minutes.

Remove the cooked bacon from the griddle and chop it into small pieces.

Add the chopped crispy bacon to the pickle dip mixture and mix again to incorporate it evenly.

Take two King's Hawaiian rolls for each sandwich and slice them in half horizontally, creating top and bottom halves. You will have 8 halves in total for 4 sandwiches.

Generously spread the prepared pickle dip mixture onto the inside of both the top and bottom halves of each King's Hawaiian roll.

Place the two halves of each roll together, forming a sandwich with the dip inside.

Apply softened butter to the outside surfaces of each assembled roll.

Preheat a griddle or large pan over medium heat. Place the buttered rolls onto the hot griddle.

Using a spatula, press down on each roll firmly to flatten it slightly and ensure even contact with the griddle. Grill for 3-4 minutes per side, or until both sides are golden brown and crispy, and the cheese inside is melted.

Remove the grilled sandwiches from the griddle and slice each in half. Serve immediately and enjoy!
