In a large saucepan or pot, melt the cubed unsalted butter over medium heat. Once melted, add the dried herbs and whisk continuously for 1 to 2 minutes to infuse their flavors into the butter.

Stir in the Better Than Bouillon Roasted Turkey Base until it is fully incorporated into the butter and herb mixture.

Gradually sprinkle in the all-purpose flour, whisking constantly to create a smooth roux. Continue to whisk for 3 to 5 minutes, allowing the roux to cook and turn a light golden color. This will prevent a raw flour taste.

Slowly pour in the whole milk, about 1/2 cup at a time, whisking vigorously after each addition to prevent lumps. Continue whisking until all the milk is incorporated and the gravy begins to thicken to a creamy consistency. Bring the gravy to a gentle simmer and cook for 5 to 7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until it reaches your desired thickness.

Remove the gravy from the heat and allow it to cool completely. Once cooled, transfer the gravy to a clean mason jar or an airtight container. Label it 'Make-Ahead Gravy' and store it in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.

When ready to serve, transfer the chilled gravy back to a saucepan. Reheat gently over low to medium-low heat, stirring frequently, until it is warmed through.

If using, whisk in the turkey drippings for enhanced flavor and richness. Alternatively, or if a deeper color is desired, add the Kitchen Bouquet Browning & Seasoning Sauce and whisk until fully combined.

If the gravy is too thick, whisk in additional whole milk or water, 1 tablespoon at a time, until it reaches your preferred pouring consistency. Taste and adjust seasonings if necessary. Serve hot over your favorite holiday dishes.
