Take one small flour tortilla and place it on a clean cutting board. Using a knife, carefully cut the tortilla approximately halfway across its diameter, creating a slit from the edge to the center.

Fold the cut tortilla in half, forming a 'U' shape. Carefully insert one half of the folded tortilla into one slot of a standard toaster and the other half into the adjacent slot. Repeat this process for the remaining tortillas, toasting them in batches if necessary.

Press down the toaster lever to begin toasting. Allow the tortilla to toast until it becomes crispy and holds a rigid, taco-like shell shape. It should be a light golden brown with some darker, crispy spots. This usually takes 2-3 minutes, depending on your toaster.

Once toasted, carefully remove the tortilla from the toaster. Be cautious as it will be hot. Repeat for all tortillas.

Hold the toasted tortilla shell in one hand. Use the back of a spoon to gently press down inside the bottom of the shell, creating a more defined pocket for the fillings.

Using a spoon, add a few spoonfuls (about 1/4 cup) of the cooked ground meat (taco seasoned) into the bottom of each toasted tortilla shell.

Add a handful (about 1/4 cup) of shredded cheese on top of the ground meat inside each taco shell.

Add a handful (about 1/4 cup) of shredded lettuce on top of the cheese in each taco shell.

Drizzle a small amount (about 1 tablespoon) of salsa over the lettuce and other fillings in each taco.

The toaster tacos are now assembled and ready to eat. Serve immediately.
