Prepare the breading station. In a shallow bowl, beat the 4 large eggs. In a separate shallow bowl, combine the bread crumbs, 1 teaspoon salt, 1 teaspoon black pepper, 1 teaspoon garlic powder, 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning, and 1/2 teaspoon paprika. Mix these seasonings thoroughly into the bread crumbs.

Bread the chicken. Take each pounded chicken breast, dip it into the beaten egg mixture to fully coat. Then, transfer the egg-coated chicken breast into the seasoned bread crumbs, pressing firmly to ensure a thick, even coating on all sides.

Fry the chicken. Heat 2 cups of vegetable oil in a large skillet or Dutch oven over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (or a small piece of bread crumb sizzles immediately). Carefully place the breaded chicken breasts into the hot oil, being careful not to overcrowd the pan. Fry for 3-4 minutes per side, or until they are golden brown and cooked through. Remove chicken to a wire rack set over a baking sheet to drain excess oil.

Assemble chicken parm for broiling. Preheat your broiler. Transfer the fried chicken breasts to a baking dish. Top each fried chicken breast with a layer of sliced or shredded mozzarella cheese. Pour the 2 cups of marinara sauce evenly over the chicken and cheese. Add a little more shredded mozzarella cheese on top of the marinara sauce.

Broil the chicken parm. Place the baking dish under the preheated broiler for 2-3 minutes, or just until the cheese is melted and bubbly. Watch carefully to prevent burning.

Prepare the slider buns. Slice the 12 slider buns horizontally, keeping the top and bottom halves connected. Place the bottom halves of the buns on a large baking sheet. Brush the bottom halves with melted butter or olive oil.

Assemble the sliders. Using tongs, carefully transfer the broiled chicken parm pieces from the baking dish onto the prepared bottom half of the slider buns. If the chicken breasts are too large, you may need to cut them to fit the buns. Top the chicken parm with a little more sliced mozzarella cheese. Sprinkle the chopped fresh basil over the cheese and chicken. Place the top half of the slider buns over the filling.

Bake the sliders. Place the assembled sliders in an oven preheated to 375°F. Bake for 5-7 minutes, or until the cheese is fully melted and the buns are lightly toasted.

Serve. Once baked, remove the sliders from the oven. Use a spatula or knife to separate the individual sliders. Serve immediately.
