Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a medium-sized mixing bowl, combine the sesame paste and maple syrup.

Mix the ingredients well using a spoon or spatula until they are thoroughly combined and form a cohesive dough. The mixture should be firm enough to roll.

Take small portions of the dough and roll them into balls, about 2-3 cm in diameter. Place the balls onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving some space between each cookie.

Gently flatten each ball with the palm of your hand or the back of a fork to create a cookie shape.

Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden and the cookies are set. They will firm up more as they cool.

Remove from the oven and let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
