In a mug, combine the gluten-free all-purpose flour, baking powder, granulated sugar, and a pinch of salt. Whisk these dry ingredients together thoroughly until well combined.

Add the melted butter, milk, and vanilla extract to the mug with the dry ingredients. Mix until just combined to form a cohesive dough. Be careful not to overmix.

Transfer the dough from the mug to a clean, lightly floured surface. Knead the dough slightly for a few seconds, then flatten it into a rectangular shape, approximately 3x4 inches.

In a small separate bowl, combine the melted butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon for the filling. Mix these ingredients until they are well combined and form a paste.

Evenly spread the prepared filling mixture over the entire surface of the flattened dough rectangle, leaving a small border around the edges.

Carefully and tightly roll up the dough with the filling inside, starting from one of the longer sides. Once rolled, slice the dough into 2 or 3 pieces, creating individual cinnamon roll swirls.

Place the dough pieces back into the mug. For microwave cooking, microwave on high for 1 minute. Alternatively, if using an oven, preheat to 350°F and bake for 10-12 minutes, or until lightly golden and cooked through.

While the cinnamon roll is cooking, prepare the icing. In a small bowl, combine the powdered sugar, milk, and a pinch of vanilla extract. Mix until the icing is smooth and has a pourable consistency.

Once cooked, remove the mug from the microwave or oven. Drizzle the prepared icing generously over the warm cinnamon roll in the mug and serve immediately.
