Finely mince the 5 cloves of fresh garlic. Set aside.

Trim the ends off the 1 pound of fresh green beans. Ensure they are dry before proceeding.

Heat 3 cups of cooking oil in a wok or large pot over high heat until it reaches 375°F. Carefully add the trimmed green beans in two batches to avoid overcrowding. Flash fry each batch for approximately 30 seconds, until they appear blistered and slightly wrinkled. Use a slotted spoon to remove the fried green beans and set them aside on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.

Carefully pour out most of the oil from the wok, leaving about 1 tablespoon. Reduce the heat to medium. Add the finely minced garlic to the wok and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.

Return the flash-fried green beans to the wok with the sautéed garlic. Season generously with 3/4 teaspoon of salt and 3/4 teaspoon of chicken bouillon powder.

Toss all ingredients together in the wok until they are well combined and the seasonings are evenly distributed. Serve immediately as a delicious side dish.
