In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, sour cream (or your chosen substitute), Italian dressing mix, and ranch seasoning. Use an electric mixer to thoroughly combine these ingredients until smooth and well incorporated.

Add the shredded cheddar cheese, shredded Monterey Jack cheese, drained green chilies, chopped green onion, and chopped tamed jalapeno peppers to the cream cheese mixture.

Stir all ingredients together by hand until everything is evenly distributed throughout the dip.

Transfer the Alabama Firecracker Dip to a serving dish. Cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or preferably overnight, to allow the flavors to meld and deepen.
