Place the chicken thighs in a bowl. Add the Maggi Savor Liquid Seasoning, calamansi juice, soy sauce, Maggi Magic Sarap All-in-One Seasoning, and ground black pepper. Mix all ingredients thoroughly until the chicken is well-coated.

Marinate the chicken for at least 30 minutes. This can be done at room temperature if cooking immediately, or in the refrigerator for longer marinating.

Heat oil in a pan over medium-high heat, ensuring there's enough to sear the chicken. Once hot, sear the marinated chicken thighs on both sides until they are golden brown.

Remove the seared chicken from the pan and set aside. Keep the pan with the drippings.

In the same pan, add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute. Then, add the sliced onion and sauté until softened, about 3-5 minutes.

Return the seared chicken thighs to the pan. Pour in the remaining marinade from the bowl. Add the Maggi Oyster Sauce, sugar, and water.

Cover the pan and let the mixture simmer for 15-20 minutes, or until the sauce thickens and the chicken is cooked through and tender.

Once cooked, serve the chicken hot with rice or your preferred side dish.
