Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a muffin tin or line with paper liners.

In a large bowl, combine the mashed ripe bananas, nut butter, melted butter, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and eggs. Whisk these wet ingredients together until they are well mixed and smooth.

Add the unsweetened cocoa powder, baking soda, and a pinch of salt to the wet mixture.

Using a spatula, mix all the ingredients together until they are fully combined and form a thick, dark brown batter. Be careful not to overmix.

Spoon the brownie batter evenly into the prepared muffin tin.

Sprinkle chocolate chips on top of each portion of brownie batter for decoration and extra chocolatey goodness.

Place the muffin tin into the preheated oven and bake for approximately 15 to 20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with moist crumbs, but not wet batter.

Remove the brownies from the oven and let them cool slightly in the muffin tin before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely. Enjoy these moist, fudgy banana brownies!
