Preheat your oven to 375°F. Lightly grease a large baking dish (approximately 9x13 inches) and set aside.

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced smoked sausage and brown for about 1 minute on each side until lightly caramelized. Remove the sausage from the skillet and set aside, leaving any rendered fat in the pan.

Add the ground beef to the same skillet. Season with the all-purpose seasoning. Cook, breaking up the meat with a spoon, for approximately 5 minutes until fully browned. Drain off all but about 1 tablespoon of rendered fat. Remove the cooked ground beef from the skillet and set aside with the sausage.

Add the diced yellow onion, red bell pepper, and green bell pepper to the skillet with the remaining fat. Sprinkle with 1/2 teaspoon of salt. Sauté for 2 to 3 minutes until the vegetables begin to soften. Add the minced garlic and cook for an additional 1 minute until fragrant.

Pour the drained baked beans into the prepared large baking dish. Add the jerk seasoning paste, ketchup, light brown sugar, honey, Worcestershire sauce, apple cider vinegar, ground cinnamon, and yellow mustard to the beans. Stir thoroughly to combine all the sauce ingredients.

Add the sautéed onions and bell peppers, browned smoked sausage, and cooked ground beef to the bean mixture in the baking dish. Mix everything together well, ensuring all ingredients are evenly distributed throughout the beans.

Taste the bean mixture and adjust seasoning if needed. You may add more salt, jerk seasoning, or brown sugar to suit your preference.

Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for 50 to 60 minutes, or until the beans are bubbly and slightly thickened.

Once baked, remove the dish from the oven and let it rest for approximately 10 minutes before serving. This allows the flavors to meld and the beans to set slightly.
