Preheat your oven to 350°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Open the pack of Pillsbury chocolate chip cookie dough and remove the pre-portioned cookie dough squares. Place them on a cutting board. Using a knife, chop each cookie dough piece into quarters.

Unroll the sheet of Jus-Rol puff pastry dough onto a clean, flat surface, such as a cutting board.

Gather the chopped cookie dough pieces and gently press and spread them evenly over one half of the unrolled puff pastry sheet.

Fold the other half of the puff pastry sheet over the cookie dough, ensuring the dough is fully enclosed in the middle. Gently press down on the folded puff pastry sheet to help it adhere.

Using a pizza cutter or sharp knife, cut the folded sheet into approximately 8 strips.

Take each strip, twist it along its length, and then roll it into a circular swirl shape. Place the formed swirls onto the prepared parchment-lined baking sheet.

Crack the egg into a small bowl and beat it thoroughly to create an egg wash.

Using a silicone brush, generously brush the top of each cookie dough swirl with the beaten egg wash.

Bake the swirls in the preheated oven for 20 minutes, or until they are golden brown and puffed.

Once baked, remove the baking sheet from the oven. If desired, dust the warm swirls with powdered sugar using a small sieve before serving. Enjoy!
