Add all the ingredients (3 cups of flour, 1 tablespoon of fast action yeast, 1 teaspoon of salt, and 1 1/2 cups of warm water) to a large bowl.

Mix the ingredients with a wooden spoon until you have a wet, sticky dough. Do not knead the dough; it should look sticky.

To help the dough rise faster, preheat your oven to 50°C (122°F) while you are mixing the dough. Once the dough is mixed, turn off the oven.

Cover the bowl with a tea towel and place it inside the turned-off oven to rise for 1 hour, or until it has doubled in size and has visible bubbles on the surface. You may leave it longer if desired.

Once the dough has risen, preheat your oven to 230°C (446°F).

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Using two spoons, grab portions of the risen dough and place them onto the parchment paper, forming 6 individual rolls. Leave a small space between them; it's okay if they touch slightly.

Sprinkle some flour and chia seeds on top of the dough portions. If desired, you can also add nuts or herbs at this stage.

Create a water bath by adding water to an oven-proof bowl or dish. Place this dish on the lower shelf of the preheated oven. This will create steam, helping to develop a crust and keep the rolls light and fluffy.

Place the baking sheet with the dough portions on the middle rack of the oven.

Bake for 25 minutes, or until the bread rolls are nice and golden brown.

Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving. These bread rolls can be stored in a bag, a bread bin, or sliced and frozen for later enjoyment.
