Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the spaghetti and cook according to package directions until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup of the pasta cooking water before draining.

While the pasta cooks, season the chicken pieces with 1/4 teaspoon of salt and 1/8 teaspoon of black pepper.

Heat the olive oil in a large skillet or Dutch oven over medium-high heat. Add the chicken and cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until browned and cooked through. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.

Add the minced garlic to the same skillet and cook for 1 minute until fragrant. Stir in the chicken broth, lemon juice, lemon zest, remaining 1/4 teaspoon salt, 1/8 teaspoon black pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using). Bring to a simmer.

Add the cooked spaghetti, cooked chicken, fresh parsley, and fresh dill to the skillet. Toss to combine. If the sauce seems too thick, add a splash or two of the reserved pasta cooking water until it reaches your desired consistency.

Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and well combined. Taste and adjust seasoning as needed.

Serve immediately, garnished with additional Parmesan cheese if desired.
