Preheat the oven to 350°F. Grease a 13x9 inch baking pan thoroughly.

In a large bowl, combine the yellow cake mix, 2 of the eggs, melted butter, and vanilla extract. Mix well until a stiff batter forms.

Spread the stiff cake batter evenly into the prepared 13x9 inch baking pan, pressing it down to form the base layer.

In a separate bowl, combine the confectioners' sugar, softened cream cheese, and the remaining 2 eggs. Mix until smooth and well combined.

Carefully pour the cream cheese mixture over the top of the cake batter in the baking pan, spreading it gently to cover the entire surface.

Bake in the preheated oven for approximately 35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. The top should be lightly golden and set.
