Preheat your air fryer to 200 degrees Celsius (390 degrees Fahrenheit).

Slice the 300g potatoes into chips. Transfer the sliced potatoes to a bowl. Add 1 teaspoon paprika, 1 teaspoon garlic powder, 1 teaspoon salt, and 1 teaspoon pepper to the potatoes. Spray the seasoned chips with oil.

Place the seasoned chips in the preheated air fryer. Cook for 20 minutes at 200 degrees Celsius, flipping them halfway through to ensure even crisping.

While the chips are cooking, prepare the fish batter. In a mixing bowl, combine 100g plain flour, 50g cornflour, 1 teaspoon baking powder, and 1 teaspoon salt. Gradually add 50ml water to the dry ingredients, mixing until a smooth batter is formed.

Season the cod pieces with salt and pepper. Dip each piece of seasoned cod into the prepared batter, ensuring it is fully coated.

Once the chips have cooked for 10 minutes, carefully place the battered cod into the air fryer alongside the cooking chips. Cook the cod for 15 minutes at 200 degrees Celsius, flipping halfway through to ensure even cooking and crispiness.

While the fish and chips are cooking, prepare the mushy peas. Boil 150g frozen peas until tender. Drain the water from the cooked peas. Add 20g butter and 10ml milk to the peas. Mash the peas to your desired consistency. Season the mushy peas with a pinch of salt and a pinch of pepper.

Prepare the tartare sauce. In a small bowl, combine 100g fat free Greek yogurt, 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard, 1 teaspoon capers, 1 teaspoon gherkins, and 1 teaspoon fresh dill. Add a pinch of salt and a pinch of pepper to the mixture. Mix all ingredients thoroughly until well combined.

Once the fish and chips are cooked and golden brown, plate them alongside the freshly prepared mushy peas and tartare sauce. Serve immediately.
