Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

In a 1 1/2 quart casserole dish, combine the drained green beans, condensed cream of mushroom soup, milk, soy sauce, and black pepper. Stir until well combined.

Stir in 2/3 cup of the french fried onions into the green bean mixture.

Bake for 20 minutes, or until the casserole is bubbly.

Remove the casserole from the oven and sprinkle the remaining 2/3 cup of french fried onions over the top. Return to the oven and bake for an additional 5 minutes, or until the onions are golden brown.

Let stand for a few minutes before serving.
