Pat the peeled and deveined king prawns dry with paper towels. Season them lightly with 1/4 teaspoon of salt and 1/8 teaspoon of black pepper.

In a small bowl, whisk together the lemon juice, honey, red pepper flakes, remaining 1/4 teaspoon of salt, and remaining 1/8 teaspoon of black pepper. Set aside.

Heat the olive oil in a large skillet or frying pan over medium-high heat. Once the oil is shimmering, add the minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.

Add the seasoned prawns to the skillet in a single layer. Cook for 2-3 minutes per side, or until they turn pink and opaque. Avoid overcrowding the pan; cook in batches if necessary.

Pour the hot honey lemon sauce over the cooked prawns. Stir gently to coat all the prawns evenly. Cook for another 1-2 minutes, allowing the sauce to slightly thicken and glaze the prawns.

Remove the skillet from the heat. Stir in the lemon zest and chopped fresh parsley. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.

Serve immediately over rice, pasta, or with crusty bread to soak up the delicious sauce.
