Pour the entire contents of the 50 ounce can of cut green beans, including all the canning liquid, into a saucepan.

Add the rendered bacon fat to the green beans in the pot.

Stir in the granulated sugar.

Place the uncovered saucepan on the stovetop and cook over high heat.

Continue cooking, stirring occasionally, until all the liquid has completely evaporated and the green beans are 'dry' with no juice remaining. This will take approximately 15-20 minutes.

Once the liquid has cooked down and the beans are dry, remove from heat and serve immediately.
