Boil the lo mein noodles according to the package directions until al dente. Drain thoroughly and set aside.

While the noodles are cooking, in a wok or large skillet, add the neutral oil and heat over medium-high heat. Add the sliced onions, minced fresh ginger, and minced fresh garlic. Sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.

Add the raw peeled and deveined shrimp to the wok. Cook for 3 to 4 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the shrimp turn pink and are cooked through.

Meanwhile, in a small bowl, whisk together all the sauce ingredients: soy sauce, dark soy sauce, sriracha, sesame oil, rice vinegar, and light brown sugar. Set the sauce aside.

Add the broccoli florets and chopped green onions to the wok with the shrimp and aromatics. Stir to combine.

Add the boiled and drained lo mein noodles and the prepared sauce to the wok. Toss everything together to ensure the noodles and vegetables are evenly coated with the sauce.

Continue to sauté for 2 to 3 minutes, stirring constantly, until the sauce has thickened and coats the noodles and ingredients beautifully.

Remove from heat. Sprinkle with white sesame seeds for garnish and serve immediately.
