Preheat your oven to 300°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a large mixing bowl, combine the vegan cheddar shreds, all-purpose flour, salt, and crushed red pepper.
Toss and mix these ingredients by hand until the vegan cheddar is evenly coated with the flour and spices.

Grate the cold vegan butter directly into the vegan cheddar mixture using a cheese grater. This helps distribute the butter evenly and keeps it cold.

Add the Rice Krispies cereal to the bowl.

Use your hands to knead and mix all the ingredients together until a cohesive dough forms.

Transfer the dough to a clean surface, such as a cutting board, and continue kneading until it's well combined. Roll the dough into logs, approximately 1 1/2 inches in diameter.

Slice the logs into individual rounds, approximately 1/4 to 1/2 inch thick. Place these rounds on the prepared baking sheet, leaving a little space between each.

Bake in the preheated oven for about 30 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy. Let cool slightly on the baking sheet before transferring to a wire rack.

Serve warm as a party appetizer. For an optional mini sandwich, layer a Cheese Dude, a slice of pan-fried plant-based ham, a slice of pineapple, and another Cheese Dude. For future use, dough logs can be wrapped tightly in parchment paper or wax paper and stored in the refrigerator; slice and bake as needed.
