Heat a wok over high heat. Once hot, add 1 tablespoon of oil.

Add the 3-4 minced garlic cloves and 10-15 chopped bird's eye chillies to the hot oil. Sauté for 1-2 minutes, stirring constantly, until fragrant.

Add the 100 grams of minced chicken to the wok. Break it up with your spatula and cook until it is almost done, about 3-4 minutes.

Stir in 1 tablespoon of oyster sauce, 1 tablespoon of fish sauce, 1 teaspoon of sugar, and 1/2 cup of chicken stock. Mix well to combine all ingredients and sauces.

Add the 1/2 sliced onion to the wok and cook for 1 minute, allowing it to soften slightly.

Finally, add the handful of fresh basil leaves. Stir quickly until the basil has wilted, which should only take about 30 seconds to 1 minute.

Remove from heat and serve immediately with steamed rice and a fried egg on top.
