In a pan, heat the extra virgin olive oil over a low heat. Ensure the pan is large enough to comfortably hold all the prawns in a single layer.

Add the paprika, sliced garlic, and chilli flakes to the warm oil. Stir gently to combine and allow the flavors to infuse into the oil for about 1-2 minutes, being careful not to burn the garlic.

Add the king prawns to the pan. Fry them for 4 minutes on a low heat, stirring occasionally, until they turn pink and are cooked through. Do not overcook, as they can become rubbery.

Remove the pan from the heat. Garnish the Gambas Pil Pil with a squeeze of fresh lemon juice, sliced red chilli, and chopped parsley.

Serve immediately, straight from the pan, with plenty of good crusty bread for dipping in the flavorful oil.
